On February 22, 2023 the 2000th mining dump truck with payload capacity of 220 tons rolled off the assembly line

The anniversary dump truck will be named after the first general director of BELAZ Nikolay Derevyanko, who led the plant fr om 1958 to 1961. His supervision led to the establishment of the chief designer department, wh ere the BELAZ designing school was born, as well as the development of the mining dump truck BELAZ-540 with payload capacity 27 tons.

Dump trucks with payload capacity of 220 tons are among the most popular. BELAZ for several years has been confidently occupying half of the world market in this payload capacity segment. More than 150 dump trucks roll off the assembly line every year. These dump trucks have proven themselves in quarries and coal mines in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Serbia, South Africa, India etc. More than 1200 dump trucks

General Director of OJSC “BELAZ” Siarhei Nikifarovich and Director for Transport AO “Stroyservis” Vitali Piatrov, who received symbolic key from a new dump truck attended at the ceremonial event that is dedicated to the 2000th mining dump truck.

”Stroyservis” – is one of the strategic partners of BELAZ and one of the leaders in coal mining in the Russian Federation. Today company operates around 250 mining dump trucks of different payload capacity. In the beginning of 2023 BELAZ will supply to “Stroyservis” another 15 new 220-tons dump trucks.

History of mining dump trucks with payload capacity 200-220 tons have begun in 1992-1994, when first prototype and pilot batch were produced. In 2003 serial production of new 220-tons dump truck BELAZ-75306, which was developed with considering of operation experience of previous generations. The hundredth 220-tons dump truck of 7530 series rolled off the assembly line of BELAZ in august 2005, his 500^th brother was produced in 2011, 1000^th in april 2015, 1500^th in august 2019.
